Class B CDL

A Class B CDL is required to operate any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing a vehicle not in excess of 10,000 pounds GVWR.

A Class B candidate may be required to obtain an Air Brake Endorsement.

This program is designed for the local hauler in straight trucks like Fuel Delivery, Boom trucks, box trucks and roll-offs.

Students may be required to obtain endorsements to operate some of these vehicles such as HazMat for the fuel truck. All Class B CDL Drivers must pass the air brake endorsement at the Motor Vehicle Department.
